About these terms

Ground Feeders is a wildlife and animal-care journal run personally by Dean G in the United Kingdom. These terms describe how our articles, illustrations and website facilities may be used. They do not cover the purchase of goods or paid services.

Using our wildlife and animal-care information

Our articles provide general information and practical suggestions. They are not a veterinary consultation, diagnosis or treatment plan, and cannot assess the circumstances of an individual animal.

Read the regional scope, dates, qualifications and linked sources alongside the advice. Species, seasons, local conditions and official guidance can differ or change. Follow applicable local rules and seek help from a suitably qualified professional when individual advice is needed.

Articles, photographs and illustrations

You are welcome to read our pages and share links to them. Where Ground Feeders owns the relevant rights, you may save or print a copy for your own personal, non-commercial reading, keeping any credits and notices with it.

Photographs, quotations and other material may belong to their credited creators. Check the licence or credit supplied with each item. Material made available under an open licence can be reused under that licence; material in the public domain remains subject to any other applicable rights. These terms do not replace those permissions or restrict uses permitted by law.

For other copying, republication or commercial use of material we own, ask us about permission. We cannot grant rights in someone else’s work. Please do not imply that Ground Feeders or a credited organisation endorses you or your use of the material.

Using the website and contact form

Please use the site lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not send threats, abusive messages, spam or malicious files; attempt to gain unauthorised access; or deliberately disrupt the website or its security checks.

When contacting us, provide information you are entitled to share and avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive details. A message or story suggestion does not transfer ownership of your work to us. If we want to publish your personal story or submitted material, we will seek the necessary permission separately.

We may block requests or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats or technical problems.

Our articles link to sources and other websites to help readers explore a subject. Those websites are operated by their own providers, may change independently and have their own terms and privacy arrangements.

A citation does not mean that the author or organisation has reviewed or endorsed Ground Feeders. Check the destination’s terms before using its services or reusing its content.

Questions, corrections and complaints
